How many of you parents have spent the summer telling your kids to “get out and get some exercise”? I’m raising my hand. I know there are plenty of sports for children to choose from in the area, but what about full body fitness? Last week I shared some information about new fitness classes for adults, this week it’s all about the kids. The Taft House will be offering KidFit youth fitness classes just for kids this fall!
Build Strength & Confidence
Under the guidance of certified personal trainers, these classes are designed to help your kids, ages 7-12, with coordination, agility, balance, and strength. It’s the perfect supplement to their fall sports or aid in getting them ready for winter sports. In addition to physical strength, children will learn the basics of listening to a coach and how to be “coachable.”
KidFit youth fitness classes are Mondays and Fridays beginning Friday, September 8 and will run through November. You must register one week before each month’s classes.
Date: Mondays and Fridays
Month 1: September 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 (Skip September 4)
Month 2: October 2, 16, 20, 23, 27 (No Class Oct 6, 9, 13 due to fall break – October 30 will fall in November’s month)
Month 3: October 30, November 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 27
Time: 4:30 pm-5:30 pm
Month 1: $90 Resident/$95 Non-Resident
Month 2: $50 Resident/$55 Non-Resident
Month 3: $90 Resident/$95 Non-Resident
