Kids Ballet Classes at The Taft House

Do you have a little ballerina in your house? If so, you’re in luck. The Taft House is offering introductory kids ballet classes for your little ones. Perhaps one day, you can watch them pirouette across the stage in a major ballet.

Boutique Dance Academy

Throughout January, February and March, Boutique Dance Academy will introduce your children ages 3 to 7 to the beautiful world of ballet. They’ll learn proper techniques and vocabulary, basic stretches and barre exercises. Your child will be transported into the wonderful world of ballet. While learning, your little one will develop rhythm, balance, flexibility, coordination, and creativity.

3-4 Year-Old Ballet Classes

Date: Mondays – Six Week Course January 8, 22, 29 February 5, 12, 26 – No class January 15 or February 19 (Due to holidays) March 5, 12, 19, 26

Time: 10:00 am-10:45 am

Cost: $60 Resident/$65 Non-Resident (January/February Combined Courses)

Age Requirement: 3-4

Registration Deadline: One week before the start date of each month

Location: Taft House

5-7 Year-Old Ballet Classes

Date: Wednesdays, January 10, 17, 24, 31 February 7, 14, 21, 28 March 7, 14, 21, 28

Time: 5:15 pm-6:00 pm

Cost: $40 Resident/$45 Non-Resident (Per Month)

Age Requirement: 5-7

Registration Deadline: One week before the start of each month
