4th of July 2020 in The Meadows
Red, Wave, and Blue Parade
How are you celebrating the 4th of July this year? Undoubtedly things are a bit different than last year. Because of COVID-19, the wonderful Meadows tradition at Bison Park will not be happening. However, that doesn’t mean we’re not going to celebrate the 4th of July. It’s The Meadows. We need to celebrate. So, Uncle Sam is coming to you rather than having a 4th of July party at Bison. Don’t miss the Red, Wave, and Blue Parade.
The Meadows Patriotic Parade
The Meadows will have a special parade that will be going around Meadows Boulevard. Get your flags and show your patriotism by decorating your bikes and strollers and wave to Uncle Sam, law enforcement officers, and sponsors as they drive by.
The parade route will go around the “inner lane” of Meadows Boulevard. Make sure that you safely line the sidewalks to show your pride. The parade will leave The Grange at 10 am. You can check out the whole parade route here.
Need a Flag to Wave?
Need some patriotic gear? If you lack in red, white, and blue, you can stop by The Grange and pick up a little flag to wave and a patriotic necklace to wear. Pick up your flag on June 29 and July 3.
Celebrate the Nation
Even though things are a bit different this year, you can still line the streets and carry on this great Meadows tradition. It’s the perfect warm-up before your 4th of July celebration and the town’s incredible fireworks show. Learn more about the Red, Wave, and Blue Parade here.
