Sunday Funday Cornhole Tournament 2019

The Meadows Cornhole Tournament

Want to Throw Bags? Enter The Meadows Cornhole Tournament

Who doesn’t love a little competition? I know I’m always up for a little, especially when it comes to playing cornhole. It’s one of my favorite games; seriously, my family has tournaments every time we get together. So, when I heard about the upcoming tournament in The Meadows, I got super excited and wanted to spread the word. You have to check out the Sunday Funday Cornhole Tournament on August 11.

Where? A New Park With Cornhole

If you haven’t explored the new neighborhood along North Meadows Drive, you’re missing a fun little park called Pocket Park, which has built-in cornhole boards. It’s at the corner of North Meadows and Umber in the Stewart Park Neighborhood. That’s where the bags will fly for this tournament.

Warm up Your Arm – Cornhole Tournament Details

Now’s the time to get your arm warmed up and your bean bag throwing technique dialed in. The tournament will be on Sunday, August 11. Registration is open now, but you must register by Friday, August 2 to participate. On the day of the event, check-in begins at 11 am, and the bags start flying at noon.  The tournament is set up as a double elimination tourney so you’ll get more than one chance to sink a bag to get a win. Space is limited, so sign up early! Pick your partner, the event is open to bean bag tossers 13 and over. However, bring the whole family because there will be cornhole boards for the younger and casual tossers as well. Also, because you can’t lose energy during the competition, food and beverages will be on sale to replenish.

I love events like this. It’s a good chance to get outside, see friends after a busy summer, and meet new neighbors. If you have a partner, sign up for the Sunday Funday Cornhole Tournament right here in The Meadows. Learn more and register your team here.
