Castle Rock is One of The Best Places to Live in America
How cool is Castle Rock? Whether you live here in The Meadows or somewhere else around town, it doesn’t take long to understand that this town is a pretty special place to live. Well, we’re not the only ones. In September, Castle Rock made Money’s Best Places to Live for the fifth time in 10 years.
We know why we all love this town, but Money lists the 6,000 acres of open space, our schools, downtown, the festivals and summer events, and Castle Rock’s location between Denver and Colorado Springs as the top reasons for making our town the 28th best place to live in the country.
Castle Rock is no stranger to this recognition when it comes to a great town and the best place to live. Our town made Money’s list in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2019. Read the article and comments from Mayor Jason Gray on the town’s website here.
I like to think The Meadows has something to do with boosting Castle Rock’s overall rankings as well. I mean, look at our community. We’ve got the trails. Check out Ridgeline and Native Legend Open Space. We’ve got the festivals like PumpkinFest and WineFest among others. And, we certainly have events such as Food Truck Frenzy, Music in The Meadows, and Holidays in The Meadows, to name a few.
Talk about location; we’re just minutes from the fun of downtown! And we have new restaurants in our community. Whether you’ve lived here for years or are brand new, you can get excited about living in Castle Rock and The Meadows.
