Thanks to Douglas County’s partnership with Waste Management, things have changed and become much more convenient for everyone living in The Meadows at Castle Rock. Rather than waiting for an annual event, you can schedule a hazardous waste pickup with Waste Management. 

Easy 3-Step Process Pickup 

If you’ve ever been to a big disposal or recycling event, you know it could take some time to get through the line. Now, all you have to do is go online with a list of the items you want to be picked up. You’ll receive a special collection kit in the mail, and then on your pickup day, place your materials at the end of your driveway by 7:00 am. It’s that easy. What’s Accepted 

If you’ve done any paint projects in your home over the years, you probably have a few cans of paint that you may not want to keep. You can get those picked up along with other hazardous waste items like Automotive Fluids, Gas, fertilizers, Wood Preservatives, Hobby Chemicals, Pesticides, and more.
