Learn Important Life Skills at The Taft House

Get Your Young Adult on The Right Track to Adulthood with Life Skills Classes

Think back to when you were first out on your own as an adult, was there a skill you wish you had learned a little earlier in life?  I know the list was long for me. Your kids now have the opportunity to learn these life skills in a special class. On January 18 from 10 am – 2 pm, LearnLife will help your teen get off to a good start and begin “adulting.” If your teen is between the ages of 15 and 18, they can learn essential life skills as they begin their transition to adulthood. Life Skills Class Topics

This class will help your teen (ages 15-18) learn the important skills that they’ll use each day on top of a few that are just good to know. Classes will tackle topics such as how to communicate in any situation, how to interview and get the job, how to make the most of your money, how to change a tire, what to do in a car accident, what to do if there is a water leak, power outage, or gas leak, and much more. The class will go in-depth on these topics so that your teen will have a better understanding of these essential adult responsibilities to become successful independent adults.
