Now that Halloween is over, and we can thankfully say we’ve seen the last of the political ads, we’re launching into holiday mode! It is undeniably my family’s favorite season. November means a busy month for all of us, but it’s especially busy at The Grange.

Here are a few of the events for you to look forward to in November.

Million Dollar Murder Mystery Dinner

How about a little mystery as you jump into the holiday spirit? Leave it to The Grange to host a fun evening of great food and a little suspense.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15 for a fun, suspenseful murder mystery dinner. You’ll go for a simple reading of a will, but then you’ll soon learn you’re getting a lot more than dinner and drinks.

Dinner begins with cocktails and you will instantly play a role in solving this murder mystery. After cocktails, enjoy the main course of linguine with grilled chicken breast in a white wine sauce. Dessert will be a delicious cheesecake with a berry sauce, coffee, tea and wine.

This dinner is for residents 18 and older and you must register. Cocktails will begin at 6 p.m. The cost is $30 for residents and $35 for non-residents.

Coats for Colorado

Although Mother Nature has been extremely kind to us recently, it won’t be long before mornings will be cold and the snow will be falling. Along with Dependable Cleaners, The Grange invites you to donate a coat to Coats for Colorado, our neighborhood coat drive. It’s a great opportunity to clean out your closet and help those in need, especially at this time of year. Simply drop-off your unwanted coats, hats, gloves and scarfs at The Grange from now until November 19.

 Blood Drive

’Tis the season for giving and assisting those in need. Who better to help than the kids at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. On November, 21 from 9 am to 12:45 pm, The Grange will be hosting The Children’s Hospital of Colorado’s Mobile Blood Drive. The process only takes 20-30 minutes and it’s an easy way to give life and hope to ill children. Find out if you’re eligible and to register here.

Holly Jolly Christmas Boutique

Get into the holiday spirit than with a holiday shopping spree at The Grange. On Friday, November 21 from 10am-7pm and Saturday, November 22 from 9am-4pm you’ll be able to shop for a wide variety of crafts, jewelry, home decor and more. It’s a great opportunity to get warmed up for Black Friday.  Learn more about the event here.
