Take Advantage of The Beautiful Weather
I don’t know about you, but with such a warm spring, I have an itch to get outside. Whether it’s for a hike or a bike ride we have plenty of options around town. When it comes to biking in The Meadows, the community seems especially strong—and with so many Castle Rock bike trails and great paths – why wouldn’t it be?
If you’re into biking and are looking for some new friends to meet up with for a weekly ride, there’s a club for you.
Get out and Ride with 6202 Cycling
Created in 2005, 6202 Cycling is a Castle Rock cycling club that was formed for those who love cycling and want to share that love with others. In addition to biking, the club is big on helping the community and benefitting local residents. There’s nothing more motivating than getting out and exercising with friends and neighbors. 6202 Cycling gives you a chance to ride and explore the beauty of Douglas County from the road and Castle Rock trails.
Do I need to be a pro?
No. If you’re not quite ready for the US Pro Challenge and are looking for a casual bike ride where the conversation can flow, join a weekly social ride. (This is the one that seems right up my alley).
If you want to get your heart rate up and you’re looking for a challenge than there are plenty of rides for that as well.
If you want to enjoy the the beauty of the area while taking advantage of this warm weather check out Castle Rock Colorado’s cycling club, 6202 Cycling, one of the many great clubs here in The Meadows.
